He identifies as a Christian father, Air Force veteran, and former educator who holds multiple advanced degrees including an M.S. in Legal Studies he is currently completing. Bridges advocates for 'Christian Servant Leadership,' emphasizing strategy over reaction and rejecting self-interest or special interest influence from developers and large donors. He criticizes the history of Prince George's County since his arrival in 1994 as characterized by nepotism and ignoring citizens' needs, comparing it to share cropping. His policies aim to improve healthcare, safety, schools, and wealth creation specifically for low-to-middle-income groups who he describes as second-class citizens.

My name is Billy Bridges, and I am a Christian. I am also a father, Air Force veteran, and former educator.
I believe in Christian Servant Leadership. This means not seeking to serve self-interest. Rather, it is being all about Christian service to help and govern others.
The history of Prince George's County that I have witnessed since my arrival in 1994, has been one of nepotism, selling out, and ignoring the needs of the vast majority of citizens.
This is my third time as a candidate for Prince George's County Executive, I have funded my campaigns, and refused to take a penny in donations, particularly from developers and large donors, who try to contribute.
