She holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Urban Educational Leadership, Administration, and Social Policy from Morgan State University and a Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University. As the mother of two District 1 graduates who graduated in 2019 and will graduate in 2026, she brings both personal and professional insight to her campaign. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and Phi Delta Kappa, a professional organization for women in education. Rooted in the community and committed to service, she is running for the BCPS Board of Education in District 1 to support strong schools and ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive regardless of zip codes or zones.
