State Sen. Charles E. Sydnor III is considering a run for Baltimore County Executive in 2026, though he stated to The Baltimore Banner that "No decision has been made at this point." He expressed a vision to ensure people have housing they can afford, citing constituent concerns about children who grew up in the county unable to live there. Previously, he served as a law clerk and attorney before entering politics as a state delegate representing western Baltimore County in 2015.
