View all candidates in this raceClint Spellman Jr. was born and raised on the northwest side of Baltimore City and faced poverty at age ten after his parents' divorce in the early 1970s. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps before working various jobs including as an insurance agent where he found his true calling helping families protect their futures. Blindsided by the 2008 economic crash, he lost his job and apartment within two years but fought back to rebuild his life while learning that homelessness often affects ordinary neighbors rather than fitting media stereotypes. Running for U.S. Representative in Maryland's Sixth District, he positions himself as a voice for the working class, forgotten Americans, and future generations after filing on November 7, 2025. His platform includes pro-choice reproductive rights, gun reform with assault weapon restrictions, wage garnishment reform to address homelessness, LGBTQ+ equality, raising the federal minimum wage to $23.85/hour, protecting federal workers from shutdown impacts, veterans support, and universal healthcare legislation.

I was born and raised on the northwest side of Baltimore City.
At just 10 years old, I came face-to-face with poverty.
It wasn't just a job—it was service.
Homelessness doesn't always look like the stereotypes we see in the media. It's often your coworker, your neighbor—someone doing their best in a system that's failed them.
I'm not here for politics as usual. I'm here to serve—to be a voice for the working class, for the forgotten, and for the future.
Capitalism is inherently unequal... When capital gets concentrated in the hands of the few, that's not a good thing.
