I'm Derek Noyes, and I'm running for Harford Council E because our community deserves leadership that listens, leads, and delivers.
It's time to cut through the noise — and bring in Noyes. I believe in solutions over soundbites, progress over partisanship, and people over politics.
Preservation isn't resistance to progress — it's the wisdom to grow without losing who we are.
As the son of an entrepreneur, a strong local economy starts with supporting small businesses and smart fiscal policies.

Preservation
Noyes argues that District E is growing in ways that pressure roads, schools, and infrastructure. He supports responsible growth that respects private property rights, protects open space, and defends farmers.
“I will fight for enforcement of our zoning codes, and ensure that sound planning, infrastructure readiness, and meaningful public input are considered before a single shovel breaks ground.”
Fiscal Responsibility
He aims to keep taxes low and end wasteful spending while creating a business-friendly environment. He emphasizes restoring trust in how tax dollars are used.
“I'll fight to keep your taxes low, end wasteful spending, and ensure that every dollar serves the people who earned it.”
Public Safety
Drawing on his background with the Sheriff's Citizens Police Academy, he advocates for law enforcement tools and resources while promoting community-based approaches like youth mentorship.
“Every resident deserves to feel safe in their home, and their community. I'm committed to supporting our law enforcement and first responders with the tools and resources they need.”
