Her career includes work for two State's Attorneys, two Mayors, a Governor, and the Attorney General. As Deputy State's Attorney, she presided over one of the biggest reductions in homicides and violent crime in Baltimore history, bringing murders to less than 200 annually for the first time in more than 30 years. She also served at Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation focusing on job creation and economic development, and worked in City Hall observing what functions well and where improvements are needed.
