Born and raised in Vermont, she was the first in her family to attend college before studying political science at Northeastern University where she interned at the Massachusetts State House and Congress. After working in public policy and communications for over 15 years, she moved to Maryland in 2009 and chose Pasadena as her home in 2016 to raise her family. She launched her own business helping small and mid-sized businesses establish an online presence in 2020. Her background includes service on the board of the Pasadena Business Association for three years, representation on the Anne Arundel County Democratic Central Committee for District 31, and volunteer work with the Junior League of Annapolis, Girls on the Run, Lake Shore Elementary & CBMS PTAs, and Scouts of America.
