Members of the Maryland House of Delegates represent their local districts in the state legislature by proposing, debating, and voting on laws that impact public education, healthcare, and transportation. They work alongside the state Senate to pass Maryland’s annual budget and determine how tax dollars are allocated to community services and infrastructure projects. This office is vital because delegates shape the statewide policies and spending priorities that directly influence the daily lives of all residents.

He brings over two decades of experience in government relations and previously worked for the Corn Refiners Association advocating for federal legislative issues that include agriculture, transportation, trade, sustainability, and environmental protection. His professional background includes interning for U.S. Congressman Albert Wynn, serving as an aide at the U.S. Supreme Court, and acting as Chief of Staff to a Maryland State Delegate. Roberson is also deeply involved in civic leadership, having served as Chair of the 25th District Democratic Central Committee and appointed as the African-American Diversity Leadership Chair for the State of Maryland. He currently serves as President for Black Professionals in Food and Agriculture and is an ordained Elder at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church where he acts as Social Justice Minister. Originally from Memphis, TN, he grew up in Prince George's County and resides there with his wife and three children.
