A resident of Thurmont, Rolle built her career in Frederick County's criminal justice system, working in addictions counseling and parole and probation before transitioning to higher education, where she served as a Professor of Criminal Justice at Frederick Community College. During her time at the college she also served as Chair of the Faculty Association, Chair of the College Senate, and as a board member of CALM Frederick. She is a member of the Maryland Register of Wills Association and the National College of Probate Judges.
