He is a proud lifelong Prince Georgian and Air Force veteran who received two Air Force Achievement Medals for his distinguished military service including support roles during Operation Noble Eagle and F-22A Initial Operational Capability efforts. Before entering politics, he served six years on the Forest Spring Community Association Board of Directors representing 125 homes and over 300 residents in Forestville, Maryland, where he was Board President for five years. He holds an Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Aviation Management from the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Procurement and Public Contracting from the University of the District of Columbia.
