A proud graduate of Kenwood High School, Essex Community College, and Towson State University, he also holds master's degrees in physical education from Morgan State University and in counseling psychology from Loyola College. McMillion spent nearly 36 years as a teacher and administrator in Baltimore County Public Schools, certified K-12 as a physical education teacher, teaching for 10 years at the elementary level before spending 25 years at Chesapeake High School in roles including department chair, athletic director, teacher, coach, bus driver, and Level II food service manager. He retired from BCPS upon his first election to the Board of Education in 2018 and was re-elected unopposed in 2022. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board and is running unopposed for a third term in 2026.
