Following the resignation of Cody Brill in November, the Board of Garrett County Commissioners appointed Sadie Liller to fill a vacancy on the elected Board of Education. Commissioner Larry Tichnell noted that Liller's background is a great match for the Board and highlighted her extensive experience in drug prevention education. The appointment allows her to complete the unexpired term until a successor is elected and qualifies.
