She moved to Maryland in 1970 and settled in Berlin, Worcester County, where she graduated from Worcester Preparatory School in 1983. Beauchamp holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware (1987), an MBA from Salisbury University (1992), and a Bachelors of Arts in Theology from CLST (1994). She has worked as a practicing accountant since 1987, owned her own bookkeeping company for seven years, and previously worked in Development at Worcester Preparatory School. Her community service includes membership with the Salisbury Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, AGH Foundation, and WPS Alumni Association.
