She previously ran for the position in 2018 and 2022, losing to incumbent Sharon "Sherri" Hancock in 2018 and to current Clerk Lisa E. Yates in the 2022 Democratic primary. She is running in the June 23, 2026 Democratic primary against incumbent Clerk Lisa E. Yates.
